Big 3 haven't helped (Much)

Been on finasteride for 2 years, Topical spironolactone for 18 months and Minoxidil for 1 year. Also use nizoral.

My hairline has continued to thin albeit slowly. What should I do? I can afford the treatments as they're all non branded (but from reliable sources), so I'm happy to pay £x a month if it's at least slowing the balding process.

Is there anything I can do to help my regime, or just accept the fact that I'll slowly continue to bald no matter what?

Sure! Add Proxiphen or Prox-N to your regimen. The addition of those extra ingredients (like the "turbocharged" SODs like PBN and TEMPO/TEMPOL) might be the critical factor that provides better maintenance and even some regrowth for you!!

Do some research on-, and add RU58841 to your minoxidil solution if you're using 5% with 50% PG, 30% ethanol and 20% water. Use the new solution once a day, before bed.

2) Does it cause shedding?

RU58841 looks promising, but possible sides, the cost and the difficulty in obtaining it rules it out for me (For the time being).

That would cross my mind if my hairloss wasn't the classic pattern for male pattern baldness. i.e. Thinning temples, spreading to the centre of the hairline. -

My hairloss is slow given that I first noticed it 7 years ago. It started young but hasn't been too fast moving - I would have thought the big 3 would work well for not particulary aggressive hairloss but this hasn't been the case.

I almost never talk about "shedding", because I've never been completely sure what people mean by that word.

Dr. Proctor has admitted that the version of Prox-N that you get from LEF (Life Extension Foundation) is probably the best deal for the money. I have no idea about the packaging they use.

Yes, it's what we humorously call a "lite" version of Prox-N. But considering that even Dr. Proctor admits that it's a better deal for the money, the COST of the stuff (the LEF version) must be even "liter" than the modest reduction in active ingredients!

Wow! I'd never heard that LEF was charging so much for shipping! I would suggest calling them or emailing them, and see if they stick to that shipping charge. Maybe they made a mistake in the advertisment. Alternatively, maybe it would actually be a better deal for you just to order the real Prox-N from Dr. Proctor (depending, of course, on how much extra HE would charge you for shipping to England). What does HE say about that on his Web site?

You could also try adding Tricomin or Folligen (instead of Prox-N). I use the latter because it's cheaper.

And there is also the Laser Comb! Can't vouch for that one personally though (too pricey for me).

Does Dr. Proctor's Advanced Thinning Hair Treatment from life extension have TEMPO/TEMPOL in it?? Is it the same thing as Prox-N? Why are you saying it is a lite version, does it have less milligrams or is it missing an ingredient?
