Big 3 effectiveness with age

Here's a hypotheses:
The big 3 or any other proven treatments are more effective with older people and/or people who have lost more ground and are starting late.

I believe the reversal of receptors (DHT turning from nectar to poison for scalp hear and turning to nectar for facial and body hair in men) does not happen in a day at puberty but happens over time. So someone very young is kind of in this process while someone older or starting late is on the other side completely.

Please explain your hypothesis with more detail, because honestly I don't completely understand the logic. I mean why would treatment be more effective if the process is further along?

No scientific basis really just in the air. However, in general on this forum and others the better responders turn out to be in their thirties. Could be they have more of a 'playing field' for therapy to act and any improvement is more visible like the writing on a 'whiteboard' :)
