BHT and DHT question

Body hair is diminished by using topicals such as spironolactone and RU etc, which are anti DHT. Body hair can also be reduced by the intake of dutasteride & finasteride.

With those facts, when someone got a BHT, wouldn't it be best to stop finasteride/dutasteride? Also, could one theoretically get a BHT and use a DHT topical to help the BHT recipient sites grow? Or, does the transplanted body hair become like scalp hair (eventually), and is minaturized by DHT?

I have read that Dr. Umar recommends that his patients discontinue the use of dutasteride after a BHT, so I'm assuming that the body hair transplanted to the scalp likes DHT no matter the length of time. He does allow BHT patients to remain on finasteride though, why is that?

Empirical evidence regarding post BHT/DHT interaction in vivo conversion has not been established as of yet. At the moment we possess only hypothesis/theoretical assumptions without proper clinical study. I know of BHT patients who take dutasteride or finasteride as well as those who take NO inhibitors whatsoever, with yield/symptoms in similar range.
What type of DHT topical are you referring? A pro topical?

I totally forgot that I posted this.

To answer your question, I shouldn't have said DHT topical. Though, I seem to remember seeing that offered somewhere.

What I'd like to know is, if one got a BHT and ran steroids, would that not be beneficial for your BHT follicles? You'd have very high androgen levels, which promotes body hair growth, so that should help your BHT grafts grow.

Maybe running something like Test-E or Proviron. Proviron is essentially methylated DHT. Since high test and DHT levels would transfer over to the scalp region, you should have the optimal body hair growing environment, right?
