I noticed that after I started eating a lot of Manga, Carrot and Pumpkin (all with much beta-carotene) my hair fell again, anyone know if this could be related ?

I've been having lots of carrots in my juice lately. Probably 4 a morning and noticed my hair has thinned a tiny bit over the last month or so. Maybe it's the excess vit A?

Vitamin A, beta carotene supplements have been shown to cause increased risked to certain cancers for smokers and no benefit to non-smokers in a double blind epidemiological study. (This can found in the NIH website)

If that's the cause of your hair loss, that's not male pattern baldness but I've not read any article which say that Vit A rich food can cause that effect. But I think the trick is to consume various kinds of fruits and veggies to avoid overdose of any Vit.

I think too much vitamin A shuts down your natural DNA repair mechanisms. It makes you more sensitive to the sun. Don't use sun screen with vitamin A in it.

And OP is very observant. I would never make that connection.
