Does anyone know if there is an ultimate time to take finasteride/dutasteride for optimum effects? Or does it not matter if you take it in the morning or at night?

The reason I ask is that sometimes I feel a bit out of sorts during the day and think this is down to finasteride. I'm wondering whether you can get the good effects of finasteride by taking it at night and avoiding most of the negative effects during the day.

Thnaks people.

any time during the day is fine. But make sure you stick to that time everyday.
So if your going to take it in the morning, do so everyday

Well, when it comes to dutasteride, it obviously makes not the slightest difference at all whether or not you take it at the same of day! That's because of dutasteride's remarkable half-life, of course...

I have definitely noticed a foggy headed feeling from finasteride. I have been
experimenting with taking it at different times of the day the minimise the sides. I noticed when taking it late at night, I would be very laggy the next morning, and most of the day. When taking it in the morning, I would get the effects later in the afternoon, and evening. So I'm now taking it about 3:00 p.m., so it effects my day less and I sleep most of it off. Lots of people don't get this side effect, I definitely do though. My libido has been effected a little bit, but the drowsy, drooly feeling is worse.
