Best Shampoos Or Treatment For minoxidil Itch?

minoxidil seems to make my scalp a bit itchier than normal.. I'm only doing a nightly application of Kirkland 5% liquid.

Anyone recommendations on things that help alleviate this symptom are greatly appreciated.

You sleep at night, right? So it shouldn't bother you then.
I also apply minoxidil at night and I do a water only was in the morning. When I use shampoo I use Regenepure DR. I love it, it smells good and it gets rid of the itch. It contains 1% ketoconazol.
A lot of people use nizoral, which contains 2% ketoconazol. I've personally never used it but most people are very positive about it.

If you use foam you probably won't have those issues.

I may try foam next time I need to purchase minoxidil.. 2 questions, ever tried Kirkland foam? Is foam as effective as liquid? I've heard the liquid to be more effective. I've also thought about putting a bit of finasteride in the liquid to compliment my low dose oral regime. Maybe I'll use the liquid a couple days a week with finasteride in it and the foam on the other days.
