My advice to you would be to get a prescription and order Proscar from http://www.medisave.ca You can get 84 tablets for 140 bucks U.S. That will last you 336 days.
Of course you can go for a patent violating generic, but so long as drug companies are being fair regarding the cost of drugs, I see no reason other than excessive greed as being the motivation to go that route.

There you go bro. Fincar, made by Cipla, a great Indian company. A year's supply for $90(90 tablets, so $1 per tablet). It's cheaper if you buy more than a year's worth but you can decide on that later.
Since you haven't started it yet, I would start off with buying 4 months worth(30 tablets), which is only like $30 or whatever. That way if it doesn't work out you aren't out that much cash. Make sure to re-order a month in advance in case there are delays.
As for minoxidil, I can't mention the sites that have good deals due to spam issues(admin won't allow it) but you can search around for it on google and probably find them.
If you want to use the foam, which dries faster and more people on here seem to like, you can get it from Sams Club or Walgreens, both of whom have cheap prices but also have sales all the time.

It's greed because one of the principles of capitalism is that people generally won't take the time and spend the money to invent things unless there is a payday at the end of the rainbow. If you look at the Constitution of the United States of America, one of the powers vested to the Congress was the responsibility "To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries".

also, you are making no sense because the PATENT on PROSCAR has EXPIRED. There are generic Proscar pills in pharmacies right now. Are people who buy those being greedy?G ive me a break.

Oh right I forgot it expired. Remember though it was a "generic" before the patent even expired.
Regarding him being from Canada, I'm from Canada too. I still look to the Constitution for guidance on issues though.
Actual generic drugs are fine. I use them myself. I'm even going to guinea pig generic drugs because I believe in them so much. Actually that's not true, I'm just doing it for the money.

I've never used them but some people on here have and can vouch for them I guess. It is a good price, same as inhouse and even cheaper when you buy in bulk(drops to $9 per strip then rather than $10).
If they ship to Canada I guess it's your best bet.
