So I posted some pics of my hair to the belgravia clinic in london, and they evaluated me as a male pattern hair loss sufferer, and they have sent an email detailing the treatment i would need to undergo. Now the only problem is its gonna cost £900 for the whole year! and paying that much every year isn't something that i can afford.

This is the treatment they have outlined for me

Morning
Minoxidil 12.5%+ Azelaic Acid

Evening
Minoxidil 5% + Medroxyprogesterone (MPG)

I didn't know if it was even safe to use minoxidil twice a day and at such high percentages, and I dont know anything about MPG or Azelaic Acid and how effective they are, and if/how they compare to finasteride, apart from the fact they are DHT blockers. I have trust in belgravia as i have heard nothing but good reviews about them, but like i said the price is too much. I like the fact they left out finasteride as i dont need to worry about the awful side effects other users have been complaining about. I'm basicly looking for an alternative, something cheaper more affordable. I know you can get minoxidil of ebay for way cheaper than belgravia have it for. I dont know where to get MPG and azelaic acid or if its even something i can replicate as its most likely belgravias own in house concoction, however if anyone can shed light on this and give me some advice i would be forever grateful, thanks!

minoxidilmax is way cheaper and better ingredients. They have information on there website in regards to higher percentage of minoxidil and its safety and effectiveness profile.

Medroxyprogesterone...

I'm not a fear mongerer or something, but I heard most MtF transgenders use that along with oral spironolactone, estrogen, estradiol, etc, during their transition. Not to mention, they even use it to castrate pedophiles/(child) predators.

Debunk me if I'm wrong.

Belgravia Hairloss Clinic are a joke charging yearly programmes for topicals with little or no clinical studies between them. Show
the clinical studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of 12.5% minoxidil with azelic acid and medroxyprogesterone, or the effectiveness of 12.5% vs 5% minoxidil. In short they are selling snake oil unless they can prove it otherwise in unpublished studies. Even if it is more effective (with diminishing returns) the side effects are an unknown.

The funny thing is they admit themselves on their own website that azelaic acid and medroxyprogesterone have no clinical studies behind them for hair loss. You are basically paying them 900 pounds a year to be a guinea pig.

Here's what definitely does work according to clinical studies: topical finestaride combined with minoxidil. They are probably not allowed to sell topical finasteride, so upping the concentrations and throwing a bunch of marketing buzzwords around is the next best thing to sell to the mass market.

That’s why I use the pharmacy in America as their products are lab tested. Plus their topical finesteride mixture is cheaper and i have been using it for years with great results.
