Been on Proscar, cut into 1/4 or 1/5, 18 months, every other day.

Possible sides:

-Face appears more bloated
-darkish tinge under eyes?
-Increased body hair on back and neck.
-increased urination
-bouts of increased anxiety (I was diagnosed with GAD b4 taking drug, so this is debatable)

But no change in hair loss. I thought crown was getting thicker, but most days it looks like sh*t.

Here is pic(last buzzcut was month ago).

Should I give it more time, or accept fact it won't save my hair?

add minoxidil in your arsenal, you buzz your hair anyway and it will be easy to apply

Tbh at that stage of balding id give it up and shave. For me finasteride only really good for people with mild loss and its more of a maintaining drug rather than substantial regrowth one. Might be time to move on brother ..

thats the worst advice you can probably give to a fellow baldite seriously, OP if u are already on fina and maintaining try minoxidil for regrowth and consider a hair transplant sometime later, dont give up!

I've tried shaving it off completely. It doesn't really work for me, have a high forehead and baby face(I try to use facial hair to cover this), along with largish birth marks on one side of head. I usually wear a ball cap or beanie 99 % of time when leaving home.

Btw can anyone tell me the norwood I'm at?
