and has noticed increase in hair. both my mom and barber told me recently that my hair has been getting thicker. but the bad, my libido has decreased somewhat which sucks.. and acnes. been getting it on a cosistant basis on my face. although usually one or two at a time its still annoying having them. also i started shedding all over my head including back and the side, which was odd becasue most of my shedding were at the top. but the shedding has decreased in the recent weeks. here are my pictures..

started using finpecia on November 29th. heres a photo on december 7.

Wow! Definite improvement in a short amount of time. You are a great responder, make sure you take it for the full year!

What's your age? Also, how severe is your decreased libido?

im 25 .... in the beginning my sex drive was really bad.. couldnt even get a morning boner haha .. but in the recent weeks its improving getting back to it.. the first month can be brutal becasue of the acnes and the low libido but once your body gets used to the new system. it should improve all the side effects..

Wow, that's definite improvement. Make sure you keep taking the finasteride, as I'm sure it'll bring you even better results 10 months from now.

Good to see this.

i'm starting to think that propecia only helps those who already have kinda severe hair loss.

I bet in the trials they disregarded those who had slight diffuse thinning and rather went for the Norwood 3's or worse.

Isn't Propecia intended for Mild to Moderate forms of hairloss?

I think I read that.

Jeffs,
I understand your frustration. I do hope that you won't stop taking propecia to become NW3 or NW4 and start taking propecia to get back to NW2.
Propecia stops you from becoming completely bald.
From NW1.1 to NW1 may not happen.
If that can happen for everyone, propecia should take people from NW4 to NW1. propecia is not a cure (there is no cure today for male pattern baldness). We only have lousy treatments which help protect what we have and may offer some regrowth.
