Been on finasteride for a year, think Accutane and Nizoral caused a massive shed

Hey guys, so I was on accutane for 6 months and towards the end of the course, I noticed I was losing a lot of hair. So in order to combat it, I took nizoral 2% everyday for a month. I think this made it worse and lost more hair. It has been a month since I stopped both.

Currently, I am losing hair moderately and a lot of the hairs seem miniaturized. So what is the cause of this loss and miniaturization? Is finasteride losing its effectiveness after only a year?

Also, should I start minoxidil?, I seemed to be doing fine on finasteride for a year.

it would be great if you could share some pictures because then we could get an accurate idea of what is going on with your hair

Accutane induced hair loss is normally temporary and very rare

Nizoral everyday is an awful idea...use it every other day at the most

I refuse to recommend or not recommend minoxidil without pictures because it is usually a case by case basis
