Barry Bonds is the greatest baseball player of all time and just hit his 715th home run! He chooses to shave his head because it goes well with his big bulky muscular look. He could grow his hair out anytime he feels to. I was just listening on the internet to the idiots over at ReGrow Now hairloss talk radio show and they insists that Bonds has Male Pattern Baldness. They sound like just your typical "Playa Haters!" Bonds is the MAN!!!!!!!

there a los of guys who don't have hairloss problems and still shave their hair... And what is the problem?

Have you thought that only those with hairloss problems must shave their heads? You are wrong.

I know many soccer players who have King Kong full heads of hair and still shave their heads.

Some also shave their head bevcause they have too much hair. :hairy:

That sounds kinda odd. Were they really hating on him because they think he has male pattern baldness, or are you just labelling them as haters because of that? I too believe he has male pattern baldness but that doesn't mean I hate the guy. I don't mind one bit that he surpassed Ruth's record.

But I do think he's definitely bald though. Guys who are that old and shave their heads to their skin don't usually do it for style, they do it b/c they're losing their hair. You can always tell when someone shaves their head but isn't balding. Shaquille O'Neal for instance shaves his head all the time but you can still see stubble all over his head. Bonds on the other hand, doesn't have all that stubble.

Not to mention, steriods speeds up the balding process so it shouldn't be so surprising that Bonds would lose his hair in a relatively short amount of time. Not all guys who take steriods go bald, but from what I've learned, it increases the rate of hair loss if you're already genetically predisposed to go bald sometime in the future.

Thanks Kalbo- I think what your saying makes a bunch of sense. I just get sick of that guy from ReGrow Now who thinks that he knows everything about hair loss and I don't like how he week after week rips on Barry Bonds. Now that I look at it closer I think Barry might be a Noewood 2?
