Interesting video. I am sure most of the vitamins and minerals he discusses play some role in over follicle health. The issue I have with statements like this, is that we see people all the time that almost completely reverse their Androgenetic Alopecia by maintaining the same exact diet, however, start on anti androgens. Also, to make claims like, "vitamin D was deficient in all the balding participants" is misleading, give that MOST people in general, Androgenetic Alopecia or not are somewhat deficient in this vitamin. So, I personally think that lacking or having an over abundance of certain compounds in the body MAY increase hair loss, but they have nothing to do with Androgenetic Alopecia itself.

The video is very confusing. It lists like a hundred possible causes for hair loss, including high blood pressure and fat, and suggests you buy the author's book to know more. Guess what, I have low blood pressure and lean while my father has high pressure and is fat. We have both started balding at 17.

I've seen this series before and it's really informative but very hard to follow for the average person. It's however a good source for knowing what to look for for self study. I'm planning to go back to it after I learn more on my own.
