Father: NW1/ Diffuse (started in mid 40's)
Mom: Ludwig 2 (started in late 40's)
My Grandpa (on my Mom's side): NW7 by 26 (I don't think I have his)
Grandpa (on my Father's side): Diffused all over/still kept his juvenile hairline at 82
Uncle (Mom's brother): NW4/NW5? around late 40's to early 50's ( Really can't tell before he lost it all permanentley to chemo, I think my hair loss is similair to his which is slow and unforgiving).
My Dad's brothers: All NW1's with various diffuse, my dad has it the worse though. :shakehead:

Father, uncle, and grand grandfather are all Norwood 6. Haven't seen my grandfather, but I have seen a picture of him with Norwood 3. He probably still got to 6. The other grandfather and uncles all have something around Norwood 2 and the other grand grandfather has Norwood 3V.
Can someone post a link to Ludwig scale?

Father and Mother: perfect hair
Brother: High hairline, what some might describe as mature hairline.
Uncles: NW4-NW5
Grandfathers: I don't remember.
Me: Receding - NW2.5

I already have a hairline much higher than my brother and I'm still thinning in the front. Hence seeking treatment.

its from my dad's side. my mums side are darker skinned and all have good hair. my dads side are all fair haired like me. grandad was almost bald in his forties/fifties though i cant be certain. my dads faired a bit better - hes 60 and around a nw5/6 - still a bit left at the back. id say my hairs following his pattern almost exactly - slowly receeding hairline.

Father: NW3-4 diffuse, he's 61. Had only receding until about 55, only then it started to thin on top. Had black hair so my hair is not from him. Neither is hairloss since he receded first.
Mother: Ludwig scale diffuse, hairline intact. Just like me.
Grandfather (fraternal): had thick black hair with a hint of grey, NW1 when he died.
Grandfather (maternal): now this is where my balding gene origins from. Was about NW3-4 at around 30 yrs of age. That's the only picture we have of him when he was young. He was pretty much bald when he got older.
Out of my mothers ~10 brothers only one is seriously bald, all others have only receding but very good heads of hair considering their ages (they're around 50-70). So yeah, of course my mother had to have that gene and not most of his brothers.

Father, (paternal) uncle, both grandfathers NW7. Myself: NW3/NW4 at 26 (probably closer to NW4, hard to judge since it's diffuse)

I uploaded some photos, but I felt the thumbnails stole too much space, so I made a separate thread instead. Take a look if you want: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=47128

I forgot to mention that my granduncle has Norwood 5A and my other granduncle has a very strange diffuse thinning, but I think it will be Norwood 5 or 5V one day.
