This is probably a bro science and I don´t claim it is a true, but just a little word from my derm.
He said, that the fact someone young is losing hair must be a way your body shows, that something is bad. He is a little worried, that finding a way to regrow hair or stop hairloss will not continue in search of what is the precursor. According to him most of his patients between 20-25 had a)heart problem b)asthma or another respiratory problem. He mentioned me as example. I did not knew I have asthma till the last year. I am very sporty and all in all I had no breathing problems. I was at allergology and they found I have strong breath, but in the second machine I had really bad numbers in smoothness (I don´t know how to describe it.. No expert in it). Its maybe bullshit, but I thought it is interesting information to share.

Maybe you are right, cause I have f*****g Hashitoxicosis.
I've been feeling shitty since childhood.
This f*****g disease has symptoms such as weight loss, anxiety, intolerance to heat, fatigue, weakness, hyperactivity, apathy, depression and sweating. I experienced all of those to some extent, some of them I feel consantly.
The symptoms also include: Hair loss.
I've been off meds for a month, cause I overdosed on meds, even if the doctor prescribed me that dose. You thought finasteride sides were bad when you could not feel your dick. Well my Hashi meds made it so f*****g bad that I did not feel my entire body at all for a month, total neuropathy, no sense of pain, shut-down emotions, that was fucked up. You have to be very careful with the dosage.

I think my health problem is that I have so many bald male relatives that it is a wonder I didn't lose my hair when I was 10 years old.

It's also a sign of possessing low quality genes, or being genetic trash. That's why I've been alone for my entire life: I look hideous, weak and sick, therefore I'm rightly disregarded as a potential partner. It's natural and unavoidable.
Dante I will be honest. I haven´t seen such strong love like sunchymes to you since titanic movie... And it means something. <3
I follow you here for some time. Such a rising celebrity. Genes are unfair.. truth. However I saw your story thread and in the beginning you had your photos there and everyone said you look good. So you won´t be as bad looking as you think. I was lucky in two things: tall and good face. Unlucky in health, body type and hair. If you are skinny as I was it can be treated. Hard, but possible. I know about your dislocated shoulder. Still. Start training legs, they are hardest for us skinny guys. Get a shoulder operation and hit gym. Also get some training in fighting sports and everyone who is mean to you break a jaw. I was 1,85 guy with 59 kg. Unable to gain weight. Now I have 1,90 and 94 kg. When I started to visit gym a lot of huge guys were laughing at me. One guy came to and said, that all bars are taken if he can use me instead. I took a hood, headphones and put all the anger in training. Now I bench press more, than this guy and a lot of beginners go to me for advice and it pisses him off. Life sucks and is hard. But I find you as really intelligent guy so I hope, that you will find strength and try to change the things you can and enjoy it at least a little. If you would want any help with training just write.

The truth is that we already live in the social Darwinist world of Gattaca. The only difference is we don't have the technology to change our genetics. I hope one day we do.

Well this sucks. I know how medications destroy live. I have autoimmune disease, but doctors don´t know which. It is not SLS or multiple sclerosis. They can´t find what it is. However I am getting stronger and stronger numbness in fingers. It is slower since I started treatment, but they are not exactly good meds for living. Worst part of all of it is, that I love playing instruments and currently I am so so capable to play piano. Guitar, violin, flute or saxophone is only nice memory of past. Also I must have a carpet, because things fall off my hands from time to time.... Even though I probably hate hairloss more.

I wish you were right, I truly wish that. My experiences told me otherwise though. I'm 25 already, even if I had potential there is little I can do and too much time wasted.
I always die a little when I see how much you hate yourself... I remember that feeling too good. You are still 25. Also one year of good training make a huge difference. And you are full of anger. You will grow fast. Good thing about getting stronger physical, that it brings also psychical strength. I can assure you, that it will be one of the hardest thing in your live. I had to eat over 5000 calories a day. Went to gym at 11pm after all day in school and work since 5 am. Several times I almost passed out how exhausted I was, no social live for almost year. However it was worth it. I fought against shitty ectomorph genes and won. Try it and see.

Roberto with all respect I must say, that I am 100% on his side. He is actually wonderful and good doctor. He is that kind of doctor we baldies need. He is in his early 60s, but still nw2 and fight for us balding guys.
+ points for him: 1) He is fighting for including balding treatment into health insurance here. finasteride will not be paid by your insurance and derm cant prescribe 5mg finasteride only an urologist here - they usually tell you to f*** off. As he said. If Replicel or others will really stop balding process it will be huge help for young guys with low budget. He is lobbying as much as he can. He find it completely stupid, that health insurance will cover expenses for obesity pills and weight reducing spas. But if you are balding? f*** off... pay for everything and we won´t even prescribe it so you need to buy it illegally. Because it is your fault you are balding, but being fat peace of sh*t is such a horrible disease...
2) He has numbers for the theory. He has data only about a part of patients. 174 balding guys from age of 18-25. 113 have asthma, 4 other respiratory problems, 18 coronary artery disease and only 36 were healthy. Also the patients were mostly ectomorph body type.
3) Currently he is trying to cooperate with some pharmaceutical company for findings about asthma and baldness. Most of them show no interest. However Teva responded positively and there is possibility of research in it.

Your doctor is simply misinformed. Balding young increases your chances of various health problems later in life, but isn't a result of other health problems. You can be the healthiest person alive and start balding at 13. Balding young just means you inherited sh*t genes.

And it's a dermatologist?! How the hell can you be a derm and not understand how hair loss works.

It's called DHT and androgens. It genetics, not a health problem. The only issue related to health, that scientists have found, was vertex baldness and heart issues. That's it.
