Your name being Brian Scalabrine is hilarious. But i'd say take pictures from all angles of your head, look at older pictures of yourself to see if you notice any difference, and find out how your grandfathers hair was as he aged, also your mothers' brothers if she has/had any.

Any time I have the option to put a fake name I always go with the Scalabrine and it's also worth mentioning I shaved my head as far down as possible about 4 weeks ago.

look at the density of the crown and midscalp compared with the thick sides. you've already lost about 50% in these areas.

ok, no offense but this is crazy. he is definitely not BALD, but it's obvious he is BALDING. the ONLY place he has thinning is in the crown and midscalp... typical male pattern baldness. he has thinned out quite a bit... trust me, I know. I have the same pattern, but even thinner in the front.

Definitely balding, BUT if you were to... let's say jump on propecia RIGHT NOW you could save your hairline
you are balding for sure your pattern reminds me mine first it started form crown then all over my scalp now im on min finasteride and nizoral after 18 months my crown is filled but my hairline receded a little and only side i got from this regimen was watery semen and a liltle bit dandruff
I think it's fascinating how everyone sees different things. To me your not balding. When you take a picture of straight/fine hair from above, specially under lightning, you will always see scalp. And I don't see any balding at the front as mr. Portugal suggests.

What's also interesting is, on my own thread mrPortugal said that he doesn't see any sign of balding, but my temples look thinner than yours. I don't know if it's because im actually thinning, or the way my hair grows/parts itself. Cause My hairline has always been somewhat different to other people.

Start rogaine and propecia NOW. This is what rogaine ALONE has seem to do for me (the little sprouted hairs in the front) and i've been on it only a month and 18 days. I plan on getting on propecia/finasteride really soon due to my very aggressive genetics coming in the near future(26/27)

I think its too close to call. You need to compare what it looks like now to older photos and make the call if you lost decent amount of hair or not. Just because light shines through does not mean you always had hair there. The natural density of hair someone has varies a lot from person to person. So early on you know better than anyone because we dont know what it looked like before
