Bald Spot On The Back Of My Head, A Form Of Alopecia?

Just over a month ago I went for a haircut and returned to my family noticing a bald spot on the back of my head, we assumed the barber may have clipped it since no one had noticed it before (I have short hair). Fast forward to now and it still hasn’t grown back, any advise appreciated!

Hi, I know this is an old post but I have noticed the same as well today and really worried.
What is the situation with your bald spot now?

I get a small patch every few years but grows back in quite fast
