Bad Shedding After Stressful Event Whilst On Finestride

Hi. First post and newbie but I’ve been on finestride 1mg for 2 and half years and had quite thin hair on the top which it pretty much sorted . Over the past 5 months I’ve had quite a stressful time a death and some exams but the last 4 weeks I have noticed a lot of shedding to the point I can run fingers through my hair and 1 or two strong hairs come out each time. My hair is looking pretty thin right now and I think starting to be noticeable. My question is could it be stress or has finestride stopped working and this is causing me more stress
