This study was designed to examine whether testosterone needs to be converted to estradiol in order to exert fully its effects on sexuality in the human male. Administration of the estrogen receptor antagonist tamoxifen and the aromatase inhibitor testolactone were without effect on parameters of sexual functions. Replacement of testosterone substitution therapy of agonadal men by dihydrotestosterone was likewise not associated with any change of sexual functioning. Administration of dihydrotestosterone to eugonadal men led to a transient increase of nocturnal sexual dreams and erections and irritability, waning after 3–4 weeks of dihydrotestosterone administration. It is concluded that aromatization of testosterone is not required and that dihydrotestosterone maintains sexual functions in the adult male with an established sex life.

Okay what you should take into account is, alot of people have been on internal inhibitors for years and havent experienced all those problems, and more importantly you have to take into account the history of the male anatomy. Through-out history they have documented that males who have lost their testicles have still been able to function. However im not saying its just as easy. In the renaissance era only males was aloud to sing in the highest choirs, so they would agree to become casterated to hold that highest honor. Also their was fanatic relgious practices that required some men to casterate themselves, so their is alot of documented history about men living with not having their full testorone. Now here is where the "tricky part" comes in, If you do have your testes and your taking a internal DHT inhibitor, your REGULAR testerone levels will increase, as your DHT decreases. So that is why alot of men don't experience any side effects. However just remember that DHT is 5 times more potent andro binder making it more annabolic than normal testerone.

Just remember the body also produces small amounts of testorone from the adrenal glands (which explains the whole adrenalil strength surge people get in high tempo moments)

This is sorta what ive been preaching as a bodybuilder, i don't want to hinder any of my health and fitness gains by lowering (1 form of T). Just remember while on a internal inhibitor you can still make GREAT gains, but i COMPETE im considered semi-pro so i need all the help i can get.

My conclusion is, don't worry taking an internal DHT inhibitor is not dangerous, only stop if you are effected by side effects undesired. Just remember that in Transsexual women, they have done waaaaaay more hormone manipulation and they live happy lives too, and yes their penis can still function. ( I know this as i study medicine and i eventually want to go to medical school on my GI Bill)
