Here is a pic of Angelina Jolie's adopted male baby here http://angiejolie.free.fr/images/maddox/maddox012.jpg . As you can see, his temporal hairline has a divot in it. Its proboably VERY indicative that he will bald in later life. Cute little fella isnt he?

Here is an article about how stumptailed macaques and chimpanzees develop baldness and how the authors not how close macaque baldness resembles human baldness. Research indicates (suprise!) that high levels of DHT in the frontal scalps http://www.keratin.com/ac/ac007.shtml .

Id like to note these apes dont shampoo, cut their hair, get oodles of sunlight, dont use pillows, or any other of those stupid alternative hairloss ideas you see on the net. Its just DHT and genetics. So when you see some a**h** come into a forum trying to spread such tripe......nail him with the above info before he can mislead someone else.

However, I personally disagree
When I was born, I was born with hairs alteast one inch long all over my scalp. Clearly I was a NW1 when I was born with no temporal recession (based on my mother's opinion). My girl (born last year) was born with almost a full head of hair at least one to two inches all over her sxalp (most of the hairs fell). At nine months she has more hair density than many babies of her age.
Until I was 18 or 19, I had a thick head of hair with probably NW1 or less (if there is one such thing).
Now, I am a NW5, probably NW6 before getting on to the treatment 2 years back. (I should have been at least a NW6, as my sister seeing me after 2 years says I have grown a lot of hair. I don't think a noticable growth happen unless you go one level down).

the simplest test can be this image. Girl, 14 months old with a crew cut, the characteristic brightness of hair fat is observed. Is there proof that sebum many years before puberty ...., so the current androgenetic theory has many problems. it is possible measure it with a sebutape test
