just saw a GP about my hairloss, told him i just been under alot of stress and he suggested b12 deficiency may be a cause, so i got a blood test today. He says if its low to take sublingual b12 and see if that helps.

anybody ever hear of this or has this helped anybody??

yes ive totally considered this possiblity already as i've been fooled before, but then again i dont know much about vitamin metabolism or biology either. But my hairloss is massively linked to extreme stress for the last eight months following my dads tragic death and tons of problems at work and with my family which is why im taking a sixth month vacation to help my body heal. So considering my docs logic, which is that when you are under stress you body uses b vitamins to turn protein, carbohydrates and fat into glucose for fight or flight, this will lead to a b12 depletion in a year unless you reduce your stress levels or increase your vitamin intake. So while i havent recieved the blood test results yet, i decided to pick up some sublingual b12 as well as other b vitamins and gulp them down for the next five weeks, i also have severe dermatitus and this is also a symptom of vitamin b deficiencys, so it makes a little sense, or you could say im defiecient in vitamin propecia?? vitamin p??ha!! well how much sense would that make though right??

i find it very peculiar that many b vitamin deficiency symptoms inclube dermatitis and alopecia, sound just like male pattern baldness!!!! very weird and also the connection between stress and male pattern baldness and stress depleting b-vitamins due to glucogenesis(turning fat protein and carbs into energy) also is another argument for male pattern baldness, anyone else notice these connections??

Perhaps dht was a drug target, not a desire for ultimate causation or truth. Although this is highly unlikely its an entertaining thought at the very least.

i think there is a link to stress and it triggering male pattern baldness probably earlier than it would start to occur without stress...

i had a year from hell when i was 27 and that was the start of my male pattern baldness.(not that i was remotly bothered about my hair at that time mind)

in some men stress can trigger the male pattern baldness gene to kick in... but theres nothing can be done about that, just tackle the male pattern baldness head on... go down fighting.. thats my motto!!
