I'm surprised to not hear it being branded about a little more on this website as I read an article earlier which reported on a test with AA on hair and it's great results.

Has anyone had any experiences with it?

I've been contemplating on getting some, either on it's own or going onto minoxidil 12.5 + AA.

If you get it, then I would suggest getting it as 15/5 minoxidil/AA. One less thing to have to apply. Personally, I am using the MOPC labs 15/5 solution.

There is no scientific evidence that topical azelaic acid works as a 5a-reductase inhibitor.

Rawtashk, the 12.5 + AA only needs applying once a day too. How well has your MOPC Labs worked? How long have you been applying it for? Is it easily applied to the hairline/temples as well as the crown?

Over the period I've used 6 bottles of the MOPC 15% + AA and I can't tell the difference success wise from that, 2% minoxidil and 5% minoxidil. I continued to buy it because it was quite a thick liquid, doesn't run when applying and dries faster than the 5%.

I stopped buying it because I couldn't be bothered to order it from overseas, wait and not know whether it would arrive (ie get lost in the postal service somewhere). It dries white though and is particularly noticeable when you sweat and the sweat dries. Be warned!!

Probably consistently for about 3 months. Usually putting 5% on in the morning and the MOPC stuff on an evening. Personally I think I wasted my money.

I believed azelaic acid made a difference on me. It worked much better than minoxidil alone.
