Beginning about 1-1.5 years ago I have been experiencing fatigue and some related symptoms, so I had my blood tested about a year ago. I had a low white blood cell count, low hemoglobin, and low blood platelet count. These counts have stayed low over the past year and my hematologist can't figure out what is causing it. He says that basically my bone marrow is being suppressed, but he can't tell why. I'm scheduled to have an aspiration performed to try to determine the cause. My question is, has anyone ever heard of propecia or avodart causing symptoms such as these? I started using avodart about 9 months ago (I don't remember exactly, but I think my blood levels were low before starting avodart), and prior to that, I used propecia for about a year. Does anyone have any knowledge of this happening in other patients?
