Attention to all Min users: Dark cricles

Iv been using Minoxidal 5% for 3 years. Iv been applying it twice daily.

However, i have been battling dark circles throughout this period and have decided enough is enough. So i have decided to reduce my usage to once a day.

Do you think my maintanace results will decline?

Do you think my dark circles will fade?

I apply liquid at night and foam in the morning.

See your GP! Dark circles are an indication of poor blood circulation. Minoxidil will have just brought up this problem sooner than later.

Go and see your doctor! Get your blood pressure checked etc.

Do you have chest pains after applying minoxidil?

Try applying minoxidil onto dry skin and not after you washed your hair or soon after you wake up.

Iv had my BP checked and iv been told its perfect and most people would love to have the same BP as me.........

I dont have chest pains. To be honest i do think its herditary but i dnt think minoxidil helps soo i think i will just have to reduce my dosage.

did you have circles before starting minoxidil? what kind of sleep do you get? late nights ever?

dark circles, unfortunately, can be hereditary/genetic. my family (mom specifically) has always had bad dark circles, and i inherited this shitty trait, in addition to the baldness gene (thanks mom!)

i actually buy concealer from CVS that matches my skin tone. yah, maybe it's "girly" to use concealer, but seriously no one can tell and it covers up the dark circles. you should try it if it really bothers you, works for me.

To be honest i did have them before but they seemed to have got a lot worser and my face does look bloated at times.

Its deffo a combination of genetics but iv just had enough of this look. Look like i have black eyes! People are always commenting.

Do you mind posting a direct link of the concealer that you use and do you think il be able to totally cover them up because they are really begining to annoy me.


My sleep isnt exactly great but i atleast sleep 6-7 hours a night.

I used minoxidil for a year and the dark circles and bloated face was only getting worse. I quit and the bloated face went away in 3 weeks but the dark circles have'nt gone away competely. Its been almost a year since I quit minoxidil.

It's largely hereditary but lifestyle can play a small part in it too.

Im walking round with black eyes! Does anybody else suffer from this problem?

How do you treat it? Iv tried to drink more water and sleep more but no luck.
