I've ordered a light density Swiss lace (instead of my medium density French lace with poly back and sides). I usually go for tape on the poly and ghost bond xl at the front.

Is the recommended method a full glue bond for a piece like this?

You can use any form of attachment you are happy with, tape, white bond, or clear bond.

I think most would suggest against a full Bond with lace as lace is much more difficult to clean. As the glue breaks down it works through the lace and get's onto the hair.

Most people with lace use a solvent soak method to clean.

My advice would be to continue what you're doing, taping the perimeter and glue the hairline.

Try a hybrid tape/glue method for the hairline.

Place a contour tape about 1/2" behind the hairline and only use glue along a 1/2" long strip at the hairline. You get an easier clean-up, and a stronger bond at the front.
