Attaching a regular theatrical wig ontop

Would it in any way be complicated somehow? Need to do some playing in a few days, but am a bit worried. But as I understand they are basically like hats. They just sit on top of regular hair. Thank you!!

I have used Halloween wigs before and it was fine. Just make sure it isn’t too tight.

Why would you want to use a theatrical wig? They don't look or feel realistic, and they don't attach properly. Just wear a proper hair system with lace or skin and attach properly with tape and/or glue. Don't waste your time with fake looking gimmicks.

Acting. But it did actually turn out my hair was enough so I didn't require a wig. So you happened to be right.
