I often find it difficult to explain my experience whenever someone asked 'how much terminal hair have you gained?'.
18 months ago my hairline was visibly worse,with shiny spots covered by almost invisible vellus hair. Six months since the addition of Finasteride, an area of approx 1cm square on both sides have turned visibly darker and grew in length (which I'm very thankful for). However,I think I've now seen the maximum benefits and they have totally stopped growing; their appearance is still dark enough and visible but totally stagnant in length, so itll never turn into a fringe.
My hair style is long, mid to side part with layers, so I can see these parts will never catch up with the rest.
If I had a buzz cut,perhaps I never would have noticed they stopped growing in length.
Would you still say they're terminal,even though they only grew to 0.3 to 1cm and stopped growing?
