dude succumbed to male pattern baldness approximately 20 years ago, but up until recently i never even contemplated his height and baldness. also i was surprised to learn that he's 5'7, i actually thought he was round about hpm's height, an illusion created by his tall bandmates.

I had a girlfriend in high school who was a huge fan of Tool in the 90's, she had the posters all over her room and I remember thinking to myself that Maynard must be balding because of his mohawk that he had at the time (I was losing some hair at the time too, so once that happens you'll usually examine other's hair lines who you suspect are balding). I think the drummer is 6'4, but I didn't really think any of his other bandmates were that big.

I remember seeing him with a full head of hair when he was in A Perfect Circle, I assumed it was a wig.

I love the music but I have always found Maynard as a person to be an ultra-serious-know-it-all type that probably wouldn't be much fun to be around. Could just be the bald head,tho.

Swifty Lazar, a famous Hollywood "super agent". He was responsible for finding a lot of the beautiful celebrities that we stupidly compare ourselves to. Swifty probably figured if you can't be good looking yourself you may as well make money off the good looks of others.

Another good musical choice Slipy! Tool are one of my favourite bands! They were amazing when I saw them in Manchester back in 2006. Just wish a new album or A Perfect Circle album was incoming...

Yeah same here, Slipy certainly knows his 90s/00s rock music! Love this band also, missed my only chance to see them play London in 2007 because it clashed with my scheduled flight to Japan on the same day, which sucked!

Hasn't Maynard Keenan been concentrating on releasing more material with Puscifier lately? I liked one of their albums, but obviously it's more electronic, experimental kind of stuff, a bit like a Tool version of Kid A.

from what i gather Maynard doesn't like dealing with major labels and their policies which is why he's been concentrating on Puscifer lately which is his independent project as opposed to Tool and Apc cuz those are major label acts. that's really a shame because a new Tool or APC album is long overdue.
