Not sure I can explain this adequately but my understanding is that once you notice balding at the front, the places already balded/have a lot of miniaturization ect, those hair follicles are almost or are fully miniaturized and harder to regrow. Maybe I'm wrong or not explaining properly but this is how i understand it to be and why it's harder to get regrowth at the front/temples and also shouldn't expect anything except stabilizing what you have. Along with finasteride/dutasteride/or something of course.
