Are there? ive read that there is only a handfull of decent hair transplant-S's in the world, some of which are in the USA. All of the places ive found online for UK based clinics are questionable.

The before and after shot is shocking! the before photo shows the guy from the front, and the after is the back of his head... wtf?

Farjo's a good surgeon. He's not as adventurous as some of the American ones, and probably not quite as talented (no disrespect to him), but he's a good guy and does some excellent conservative hairlines.

Is this from personal experience or word of mouth?

Read what it says under my Avatar. Trust me never go to one of these cosmetic chains for a hair transplant, they are not specialists. None of the worlds best surgeons are located in the UK.

Something even better than personal experience - extensive research.

I did research into this and never found anyone approaching good in the UK for 'mega sessions'. Most places consider 2000 grafts the absolute max in one session and offer very little detail on how to do work.

Personally I went to Canada with Dr Rahal I'm happy with the progress I'm making thus far, but it's still early days, I need another few months before I can comment on the actual results!

For the number of grafts I had, plus what I was refunded for travel it wasn't that expensive compared to the UK places.

So my advice is to do research, but I doubt you will find anyone capable of doing large numbers of grafts in the UK like they can in North America. I guess it depends if you want FUE or strip.. Either way don't be fooled into just getting a few hundred grafts on your hair line you need to consider how you want your hair to look in 10 years not 10 months!

Check out my thread anyway
