Are there any better alternatives to Dr. Lee's spironolactone cream?

I gotta say, I hate this stuff. Not only does it smell bad, but it's like putting some crappy pomade in m hair. Are there any spironolactone products that don't do this, and don't smell as bad? For the meantime I'm just applying my morning sprio right after I get up and let it sit a couple hours before I shower, but once I get a job I'm not going to be able to do that, and I don't know if I'll even be applying spironolactone in the morning then, which makes me wonder if using spironolactone would even be worth it.

I have never used a spironolactone that did not smell. They all smell like crap man. The only one that does not smell bad is proxiphen, but of course that is not just spironolactone.

Well, there is a new 5% spironolactone @ GenHair. I was told that it does not smell, and that the fragrance it has is a more MINTY type of smell. So it smells like mint and doesnt stink. But this is hearsay. I havent tried it out myself yet. I was told this in another forum.

Oh yeah, forgot about that stuff. Unfortunately you can only buy 90 dollars worth, so just trying it out is pretty expensive.
