Hello, My son who is 6 years old has a diagnosis of autism.. About 2.5 years ago i noticed a small hair loss at the back of his head about the size of a penny.
This has now got progressively worse and he now has about 4/5 round patches at the back of his head and a large patch above his left ear. It has got worse over the last year where we have lost my Father my son's granda of which he took really bad an due to his Autism struggles to cope with! I do believe this hair loss is down to stress/worry
as he gets him self worked up alot of ''silly'' things to other people!
I have joined this wee site for support/tips etc as my own doctor isnt really of any help ??
It does bother me more than my son he is unaware of it! am worried it gets worse and his classmates picks up on it and bulling sets in..
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
