Are naturally thin-haired people screwed?

I've had naturally thin straight hair since I was a kid. What's discouraging is I have never seen a dude with a full head of hair have anything but normal to thick looking strands of hair. Are all the naturally thin-haired people screwed or is this just a false perception?

As it will be for those with Thick Hair.. Fact is I personaly think the thin haired dude is more prepared for male pattern baldness than the guy who had that great thick head of hair that the Barber was always haveing to thin out. The guy who always had the crowning glory of often praised hair who suffers male pattern baldness has more to loose and suffers more.
