after 3.5 months on only propecia the hair on the top of my head has grown back. it's thick now but before you could see through to my scalp. i was a norwood 3 and my temples were quickly eroding. they still are eroded but then again hair is still growing. and for the first time in over a year my hair is so full i did a front flip up with my hair.

i just wanted to give my success story, so many people do not give theirs and for the 1st 1.5 months i was shedding like 300hairs/day on propecia. but while it was shedding i could feel prickly hair on my scalp when rubbing it with my fingers. now i hardly shed and the shedded hair has grown back.

i got a 1yr supply of finpecia, but next year will switch over to dutasteride generic .

make sure you put a quick summary in the "success" part of this forum, the newbies i think really need that support. anyway, i too have had very early success, i'm hoping that this means especially good results over the course of a year! what do you think? keep us updated.

Those positive stories make me really excited to be on treatment (1/2 month on propecia so far). I'm even looking forward to my first shed, which might be starting now. I wish I knew what, if any, common traits were shared by those who had no success on finasteride.
