Applying to much regaine

Hey hopfully someone can help me,iv bein using regaine 5% for nearly 4 years now twice aday and i dont have like buzzed hair its about medium length but iv always used more minoxidil than it says just because i struggle to get full coverage with medium length hair as alot of it ends up soakedin the hair,now recently iv bein worried as to how much has gone systematic over the years as iv got quite hairy ears for a 27 year old and my skin just dosent look great anymore,now iv read all the horror skin side effect storys but never believed them but now its making me wonder,has anyone got any info about this would be much appreciated?

Lower your dosage or maybe you can apply once a day.

I don't know about the skin side effects, never had troubles with that. Some people apparently do see skin changes with the usage of minoxidil (anecdotal evidence though). There is a study that suggests that minoxidil inhibits collagen synthesis I think. The scientific evidence is very weak aside from that. That being said you want to limit systemic absorption of minoxidil man. It's not healthy. Oral minoxidil has a black box warning. So yeah, if you feel that it gets systemic too much just cut back on your dosage, or try to apply once a day. See if that makes a difference.

But, we also all get older and age man . My skin looked better in my early twenties also than it does now, which is 5-7 years ago.

Thanks for the reply really appreciate it,iv lowerd my dose im just worried that its not getting to my scalp and its just getting soaked in my hair and its gona stop working but ill just have to see i gues,iv just had a big shed and i dont no why really depressing
