Applying spironolactone on the hairline

Hey all. I just have a quick question for those who use topical spironolactone.

I have the 5% lotion from Dr. Lee that I'm using to treat the early stages of a receding hairline. My question is: When applying the lotion, do you actually apply it to the hairline itself or just below it? This may be a silly question, but I vaguely remember reading not to put it on the hair itself, and I'd just like to be clear. Thanks all.

its not going to negatively effect you if it gets on your hair, but the only way it can work is to be in contact with the scalp.

Huh!? If you are thinning in that particular area then put it there.. no matter if you have hair there or not. they say that you should try to get it on the scalp and not the hair but of course anyone who has ever used a topical will know that this is generally impossible to do unless you shave your head. don't worry about getting it on your hair, but you'll probably want to wait until it dries or is cosmetically acceptable to venture out into public. comprendo? :)
