im 17 and I've been applying minix to hairline and forelock area, however I want to start applying it to the crown area. However I'm finding it incredible difficult to part my hair at the crown to apply it. Also I have to hold up the mirror so I can see the crown. Anyone that applies minoxidil to their crown, how do you do it?

I'm 18 going on 19 this year, been applying minoxidil foam to my crown and temples for a year now. I have mirrors in my bathroom in a way such that I can see the back of my head/crown without holding one up myself. This makes it easy to apply foam without getting it in my hair, but I suspect you don't have such mirrors.
When I have been in places without two mirrors in this way, I simply part my hair with one hand and apply the foam with the other, it generally works well. Sometimes you'll get more of it stuck to your hair though, but this shouldn't be a problem if you shower once a day or every two days I think.

Try liquid minoxidil. You can put the dropper directly on your scalp and drag it while slowly squeezing, then massage into scalp if you wish.
