Anyone tried ordering 2% Ketoconazole shampoo from Amazon?

Hi all,

With Nizoral being practically impossible to find in America at the moment (and $80-$100/bottle on Amazon), I curious to know if anyone has tried ordering the 2% Ketoconazole shampoo on Amazon. The products tend to ship from Thailand or Vietnam. A few sellers have received good feedback, so I assume the products are legitimate. I found a 200ml bottle for around $25 with free shipping. I think that is actually a pretty good price for 6oz, considering Nizoral 1% was generally $15+ at my local pharmacies for 4oz.

Thoughts?

I don't know what part America are you in, but 1% Nizoral is available on shelves at major drug stores. You might wanna ask the pharmacy counter where it might be placed as it is not a commonly used shampoo and is present in small quantity. 2% is by prescription in the US, and I am pleasantly surprised that Amazon allows that to be shipped to the US without prescription. In any case, if you order from not so industrialized world, you will definitely get the best bang for your buck and their products from well-known sites are authentic and legit; making knockout ones would be actually more expensive for them.

And Mentalist, I wasn't aware that 1% nizoral was available in most areas. I live in the southeastern US and I've checked CVS/Walgreens/Rite-Aid/Wal-Mart/Target and others all over my region with no luck. I know that several individual stores have told me that they discontinued it due to lack of sales. Thanks for the info. though. I'll keep my eyes open when I'm traveling.

Nizoral company got a big hit during financial crisis caused by greedy bankers and even more greedy politicians. They say they are rebuilding one of their factory and Nizoral should be available in June. Don't know how accurate is that as they may just say that to keep everyone happy. There may be some delays too. June is right around the corner.
