just wondering if anyone knows about a new treatment called 'Phytotrixil', I'm considering it on the basis that I've been prescribed Propecia but found it too expensive (UK). This is the article I found about it:
Phyto: 0207 620 1771 (UK)
I phoned them to try to validate the claims made in the clinical trial and learned the following: the trial was undertaken by an independant body, the volunteers used phytotrixil and an ordinary shampoo only, no other treatments
they guy I spoke to mentioned that the ointment did have an odour which some people disliked in which case they recommended putting it in last thing at night and washing out in the morning. Application is just a question of massaging into necessary areas of dry or towel dry hair
just wondering if anyone had used the stuff or has heard from someone who has
ta!
just wondering if anyone knows about a new treatment called 'Phytotrixil', I'm considering it on the basis that I've been prescribed Propecia but found it too expensive (UK). This is the article I found about it:
Phytotrixil works to rebalance the scalp with a new ingredient called Hydroxyisoleucine, an amino acid from fenugreek seeds, plus anti-free radical grape seed, soothing extracts of shiitake, stimulating cananga essential oil and sebum-regulating serenoa essential oil. Solanum glycoproteins help stimulate the hair bulb.
Its unrealistic to expect miracles, but clinical trials of 24 volunteers with alopecia showed that using a daily ampoule of Phytotrixil over 16 weeks led to decreased hair loss, hair growth in thin zones and thicker hair in 18 testers. Phytotrixil (£37.50 for 12 ampoules) should be applied three times weekly for four weeks then twice weekly for 12 weeks as maintenance.
