Anyone Successfully Do A Curl On Lace System?

I have a customer who wants to curl a pre-made system that is in his possession.

It is cost-prohibitive to send it back and forth to the factory.

I have never done it...

Has anyone here tried it? Or have their salon do it?

According to the factory, you do it the same way you do a regular perm. You just seal it in a plastic bag for 20 minutes instead of on your head.

You need a wig stand to do it.

I have curly hair. I love pieces because they'r'e straight.

But I wouldn't mind nice, stylized waves.

What do chemical curls mean? What's the process of making those curls? Would it hurt the hair or maybe protect it?
