Anyone Know About Vaseline's Interaction With Minoxidil?

So I've been getting a lot of dry, flaking skin along my hairline lately and have been using Aquaphor (70% vaseline) to moisturize. However, I don't want to be blocking/messing up my minoxidil absorption.

So my question is, if I apply minoxidil to my hairline, then some vaseline over top of the minoxidil, will it mess with the minoxidil absorption?

All I've found is the following:

"Concomitant use Minoxidil 5% solution, and some medications for surface application, which include corticosteroids, tretinoin, ditranol and Vaseline, can increase the absorption of minoxidil."

Kinda hard to believe to be honest...

I don't think I would enjoy using a Vaseline based moisturizer for my scalp. I am not sure about Vaseline improving or interfering with Minoxidil's absorption.

The only two skin care products that I use on my skin, including my whole scalp, is alternating between pure argan oil and coconut oil, and I haven't noticed anything different with Minoxidil's effectiveness. If anything, I'd recommend using one of or either of those two instead.
