I ordered propecia yesterday, going to take it today.

I didn't ask my GP, just ordered online but it's legit.

Anyone who takes it can you say if you have had or not had sides from it...

I seem to see a lot of people with no sides, which is making me hopeful.

Don't ask for such opinions on a hair loss website. Half of the guys here have had sides and it will discourage you. If it worked for them, they wouldn't be here to begin with

Im in the same boat as you, according to clinical trials its only 2% of men who had sides, but you only really know when you start to take it, its a risk i suppose. What is your plan like? do you know how many mgs you need to take etc?

Im not on any, i want to get evaluated before i start taking anything, i've still got my hair, but its definetely thinned out, i was thinking of visiting a trichologist, hopefully they can outline a plan for me. How long have you been using the minoxidil? noticed any regrowth?

I checked your post from may, I have similar situation to you but my crown area is worse (check my posts if you want) and i'm 7 years younger so I need to throw the kitchen sink at it.

I just ordered propecia online via Superdrug. I talked to my GP about Propecia (finasteride) and the guy warned me about its side effects etc and suggested to improve diet and use over the counter minoxdil and then suggested a hair transplant if things got worse impying hair transplant > finasteride. But he did also say finasteride is a good drug.

Have been using minoxidil for about a month and not noticed anything at the moment.

EDIT - I also have been taking biotin and multi vitamins for a month
