Anyone heard or have used biolyn?
Some links to it:

I don't think this is snake oil since it is invented by a university prof. But I do question about its mode of action and effectiveness. It dosen't help that the manufactuers are relunctant to reveal the ingredients apart from saying they are derived from plants and contain "Bio-transformed peptides and saccharides" that protects follicles from DHT. What is attractive about this product (if it really works) is the claim that the application frequency can be reduced to a few times per week. The bigger claim is that the prof actually said in a television interview "hair will definitely grow back" if the follicles are alive.

I have sudden diffuse thinning for the past 2 months and am on finasteride right now. I don't know if i should give this a try or use minoxidil. What i don't like about minoxidil is that it kinda disrupt my everyday routine but I am also afraid that if i tried biolyn for 1 year and if that dosent' work, I might be worse off.

What do you guys think?

biolyn doesn't seem to work for me

Been using it for nearly a year now. No positive results to post but no excessive shedding as a result of it either. The frontal portion above the temple has had slightly more hair loss though over this period.
Not a consistent propecia user, but intend on using finasteride consistenly by buying proscar.
