my son is 20 and became hugely depressed - had a full head of hair 2 years ago, now the entire top is see thru. we went to new image in PA, signed a contract to the tune of $1,800 for the first piece and haircut when they glue it on his head. told us that it will probably cost about $207 a month for an upkeep package, includes new systems, haircut, etc. what do you think????? we are not signing anything at the time he gets his first system, but they kinda have ya by the balls. ya know? i'm a 49 year old woman who started thinning on top at age of 36. i almost had a breakdown, finally i dyed my hair blonde so my scalp and hair kinda match. i also have my hair long so i tease and pull hair over the bad parts, most can't tell my hair loss, but in years to come, i'll be wearing a wig.
i don't care but i'm worried about what we are getting into, yet my son said he'll work 3 jobs just to have hair.
any thoughts?
