Has anyone considered to get their T/ DHT / Estrogen levels checked out?

I managed to get a copy of a blood test frm 2013 which shows my testosterone is at 17.1 nmol/L the range is 9.90 - 27.80

However after doing some research it seems my reading at the age of 23 of 17.1 is equivalent to that of a 75 year old....

The normal range is 21+

On this sheet I havent got dht etc checked, but I have booked a blood test again to get all the levels checked out and am going to try a few different herbal products, one of which theaflavins which is shown to reduce DHT the same amount as propecia.

Just wondering if anyone else has had blood work done?

Unfortunately NHS don't test for dht

However my test has dropped even further to 13.7 which is very low however not deemed significant and apparently according to my doctor within range. However one thing I might state is that in 2013 I had no dupa and thinning of donor and wispy wavy hairs now with my t even lower my hair on my back and sides is subsequently thinning,

Everything else vit d magnesium etc all high or average

Dht shoudnt affect back and sides and advise I've received is to jump on finasteride to thicken up back and sides but that don't make sense...

Personally I believe testosterone affects hair quality and strength, if only more people with thinning hair on back and sides would confirm!

Obviously people who are older go bald testosterone levels decline hormone levels go out of whack, I haven't been the healthiest most active teen, so could be why I've started losing my hair at 17,

So do you think by a healthy diet lifestyle could slower male pattern baldness? I mean life without smoking, drinking beer(gluten) and use hairdryer with gel?

possibly - I know when I was eating well and workng out my hair did definitely look better - I was feeling better sleeping better etc

but its just keeping it consistent - we all want immediate results - and a product to do all the work,

I must agree! I started working out last year (Right before I shaved my head)
While my hair was growing and I ate healthier and worked out. My hair started to become so much thicker, stronger and looked better. None of my mother´s family are bald or going bald. My grandpa died with thick and healthy hair. On my father side, my grandpa had some hair when he passed away but some of my uncles & dad are bald. My dad said he started smoking at 18 but I think he stared earlier besides that he drank a lot of beer (alcohol). The thing is that diabetes runs in my father´s family maybe it caused hair loss? (Not all of my uncles from my dad´s side is bald)

Testing my dht is how I found out finasteride and dutasteride don't work on me. Lost hair for a year on finasteride. Then lost hair for a year on dutasteride. Paid $60 to get my dht tested. It was in the completely normal range. Started taking 2.5 mg dutasteride a day. Still dht was completely unaffected.

Realized these tabs are useless on me. Became very despondant. Thought it was game over.

Found RU58841 online and felt like I had a new chance in life. Slight progression on just RU for 2 years but better than nothing.

And that brings me to here, now, and my current regimen and experiments.

Still using RU but not alone anymore. Finally regrowing hair well. Should reverse a Norwood at this rate by another few months.
What is your entire regime? :)
I also tried Finasteride. It gave me acne and scalp inflammation. (I hope I can regrow hair that I lost to finasteride)

Where did you get your DHT tested in the UK?
