They want to offer good services so people come back because those fat, bald, ugly 35-40 year olds are desperate for intimacy and may come back and pay them more. If they could make the same money just talking to you and not having sex, they would much rather do that. Which brings me to this next point:

I guess you should take this question as a compliment. It is just a bit narrow minded to ask a good looking person why he/she doesn't have a partner. The reasons can be very very different, starting with "It is my choice and I prefer to be alone". I honestly never paid for sex in my life.
