So I've had this in the past where areas on my hairline would get irritated and it would feel like a small red bump on the follicle. It was always hairs that were miniaturized. It almost always resulted in the loss of the hair. Recently I started having this again on my hairline where there are miniaturized hairs. A little worried these hairs are going to fall out now. Anyone know what causes this? Is it the DHT/hormones irritating the follicle, because i thought male pattern baldness wasn't supposed to cause irritation/redness such as this. It looks a little red on the follicle and it feels irritated with a small bump when touched.

male pattern baldness surely does that! I have it since 16 got especially bad since last year it's a torture. I literally get multiple hairs coming out from it with sebum plug+blood and tapering roots.
