Anyone Else Get Pubic-like Hairs On Head From male pattern baldness?

I am just curious if anyone else has experienced pubic-like hairs on the scalp from male pattern baldness. I have been noticing these hairs developing in some of the areas I am losing hair. They aren't in all the areas of hair loss, but some areas. I am pretty sure these are miniaturized hairs, but I don't get why they look different than the other miniaturized hairs I have (they literally look like pubes). These hairs are super curly/kinky and shorter than my normal hairs. They aren't any thinner than normal hairs though. I would think these are from the minoxidil or finasteride, but I had these hairs before I started the treatments after male pattern baldness kicked in (have more now as my male pattern baldness progresses). I have some all over my head, and are highly present in the center of my hairline in a patch (an area that has been thinning badly). I have normal-looking miniaturized hairs (thinner, lighter, shorter hairs), on my temples though where I am also receding. Any thoughts on this?

Yes, I have been experiencing something similar. Not really like pubic hair, but short and frizzy yes. I think it is linked to the excess sebum, which is a by byproduct of hair loss (or a cause of it, it is not clear).

Are you guys planning on using body hair to supply a future hair transplant?

I doubt it is excess sebum or this would be present at the same rate throughout my scalp where male pattern baldness is occurring. I am guessing that it is a result of weaker hair follicles as a result of DHT damaging the follicle. It could just be normal miniaturized hairs, that no longer are able to grow long and strong so they are growing frizzier and crooked. Just my thoughts. Its weird that not all my hairs that are miniaturized are like that though.
