I wear daily and I have had no problems since I started. I use Supertape and a small amount of glue, remove, clean up and reattach every 2-weeks. Sometimes I will have a day's grace if Im off. I know people that have worn for 15-20 years without issues.
Now and then I do need a little scratch, but no problem with my lace system. Air can get to my scalp and sweat evaporate.
I personally, wouldn't recommend wearing for over 2-weeks at a time without removal and a good clean to keep your scalp healthy and everything hygienic.
