Reason? Because finasteride shrinks the prostrate and your body as a counter action, INFLAMMED it naturally to compensate. Our bodies do things like this.
So many guys on propeciahelp have had this problem which has casued many people prostatitus. I personally took antibiotics to help just incase this is the case for me.

why the people that takes fina for prostatic hyperplasia didn't get
enlargement from elevated estrogen ?
you know, my purpose is only to have something undoubtable to show to the Doctor.

No, I've never checked my prostate, but I've been having some trouble which is most likely related to it. Everything but the prostate have been checked, and looks fine. I've urge incontinence and blood in my urine, and no one knows why (it's not because of finasteride, btw). At the time my estrogen level was so high that I got gynecomastia, my symptoms got worse. Remember that the percentage of people who gets side effects on Proscar is apparently small too. DHT is probably worse than estrogen when it comes to enlargement, but there are a lot of other problems related to the prostate. It's all about balance.
Yeah, I know about the blood. Possible problem with the prostate is my idea. The Doctor can tell a lot from... a finger up your ***. I'm a bit reluctant about that part. Anyway, my problems may be due to a surgery I had as a child too. I'll deal with it later. Right now, I've more than enough dealing with hypogonadism.

Are you using zinc? Btw, Colin found a study of creatine, which shows that it increases the DHT level; http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19741313. Everyone who don't want to use any drugs, should look into supplements like this.

After that finger
i did rectoscopy, endoscopy and stamey test (which includes prostatic juice)
i cannot imagine other humiliating\painful tests
if i think that all is about fina, sometimes i fantasising to run in merk's offices with an ak47

it annoyed me in the past also because it left my few hair very "oily"
